As part of celebrating the year of Zayed, the school released a large Manuscript Magazine in association with both Islamic and Arabic Departments on the theme ‘Sheikh Zayed; The life and Message’ on Thursday 21/06/2018.

The Magazine was released in the specially scheduled assembly in the presence of dignitaries from ADEK and UAE Community Police Department and the managing authorities of the school.

The programme started with prayer by Master Khalid of grade X C, followed by the UAE flag salutation and National anthem. The Managing director Mr. Moideen Haji offered felicitation speech and the Principal addressed the gathering mentioning the value and significance of such a magazine in the campus. Dr. Muammar Ali Ahmed, the Senior specialist of ADEK and Mr. Hamad Al Shamsi, from Community Police of Al Ain together released the Magazine with all regards and wishes. Followed by the release, the chief guest from ADEK addressed the students and blessed the event. He said that ‘‘It is a great event to be contributed as a tribute to the life of Sheikh Zayed from his disciples and which will be presented in the name of Darul Huda School to the authorities of ADEK”  .

The Manuscript Magazine deals with different themes on the life of Sheikh Zayed, his childhood, scholastic life, interactions with rulers and nations, Messages to the world, special contributions to the country and general ones to the world, and his generous life spent for the poor and needy people around the globe.

The Magazine was compiled on the basis of a competition conducted in the school under the supervision of class teachers. From the senior category, grade X A, XII Commerce B, and VII E, from the junior category, grade VI C, V A, and IV C and from the Sub Junior category, grade I E, III B, and II C won the first three prizes respectively. The already announced prizes were distributed in the programme by the special guests, Managing director, Principal, Vice Principal, and supervisors.

The principal appreciated Mr. Abdul Latheef, (HoD, Arabic Department) , the man who conceived the idea.Mr. Salih and Mr. Nisar whose active participation lead the way to the release of the Magazine and the success of the event.
