A student council is an organization of students within a school that represents the interests of the students who study there. The members of the council are elected to participate in designated areas of school government.

Election to student council for the post of Head boy, Head girl, Deputy Head boy, Deputy Head girl and General Captain (boys and girls wing) and other designations were held on 25th April 2019. A committee, which includes the Principal, Vice Principal, Supervisors and class teachers, together selected the student council members through nomination.

Master Ali Mohammed Rasool of 12 Com.B and Master Mohammed Nahidur Rahman of 11th Sci. B are selected to the post of Head boy and Deputy Head Boy respectively. Miss Fathima Kamal of 12 Sci A and Miss Jawahir of 12th Com A are selected as the Head Girl and Deputy Head Girl respectively. The post of General Captain (boys) went to Master Basil of 12th Sci B and Miss Sadia Yasmin of 12th Sci A is appointed as the General Captain from Girls.

Candidates to the other portfolios of the Student council are also selected by the committee headed by the Principal. The Investiture ceremony took place on 1st of May 2019 wherein the Principal administered oath of office to the members of the newly elected council.
