The Social science club observed UNO Day in commemoration of the forming of United Nations Organization on Oct 24, 1945. The assembly activities were conducted on 24th October 2018, by the students of X B. The assembly procedures started with prayer by Master Ahmed. Ms Faisa Beevi of grade IX A delivered an informative speech based on the theme ‘Traditions of Diversity and Nonviolence’ which was followed by a talk show led by Ms. Jumana and Ms.Aysha Ahsana of grade XA. The talk show was very informative and educative. Master Yousuf Mohammad, Master Mohammed Zidan, Master Mohammed Remees , Master Haroon Mohammed Azeem were selected to deliver short speeches as to give an idea about all the major organs of the United Nations Organization. A skit done by the boys created an awareness of how UNO agrees the Veto power. A brain storming quiz was conducted at the end which tested the knowledge level of students of all cycles. The activities of the day concluded as a white pigeon was released by our honorable Principal Mr.Muneer Chalil considering it as a symbol of peace and non-violence. Students participated with zest and zeal and contributed creatively to make the event colorful.
