World Red Crescent day is celebrated globally on 8 May every year. This year, the theme is ‘Memorable smiles from around the world’. Darul Huda Islamic School observed and celebrated this day on Monday 7th May 2018 by conducting various activities in the morning assembly.

Raihana Thasleem of 8A enlightened the gathering with a speech on the current theme. A thought provoking tableau was presented by the students of 11th Science A.  During the occasion Students and staff members contribute money for charity. A quiz competition was also conducted in connection with this day.

The assembly activities ended with Principal’s address stating the importance of the day.
