Dept. of English is committed to enhance learners’ skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing for a wide range of purposes. So as to using language to learn and communicate ideas, views and feelings. It enables children to express themselves creatively and imaginatively, as they become enthusiastic and critical readers of stories, poetry and drama, as well as non-fiction and media texts. Children gain an understanding of how language works by looking at its patterns, structures and origins. Children use their knowledge, skills and understanding in speaking and writing across a range of different situations in practical life.

We have special periods per week stretches from grade one to senior secondary in order to enrich our learners’ reading skills as to promote and review its multi- phases well by the trained teachers. With the help of teachers, our learners do read, discuss and analyze relevant reading resources like news papers, magazines, periodicals and books in order to appreciate them and comprehend the way they are prepared. This opens a door to the world of language and literature for the curious young minds. Teachers record the individual learner’s improvement in reading, comprehension and construction and accordingly refurnish their plans.
