The main purpose of ‘World Book Day’ is to encourage children to the Pleasures of books and reading. It is an opportunity to give every child and young person a book of their own. All the students of kindergarten participated in the celebration. Teachers took initiative and made awareness among the students about the importance of books and reading. The day provided an opportunity for the students to read and familiarize many books. It’s all about getting kids closer to the books and authors they already love, and letting them discover more books and authors they’ll love every bit as much in the future.
